Performance and Characteristics of High Pressure Flanges

Performance of high-pressure flange products:
1. Corrosion resistant ceramics are neutral materials with stable chemical properties, which have excellent corrosion resistance and acid resistance, and can withstand various inorganic acids, organic acids, organic solvents, etc. Its corrosion resistance is more than ten times that of stainless steel. High pressure flanges are mainly used in places with strong pressure resistance. Generally, it is above 10 pressure, which is called high pressure.
2. Abrasion resistance: The ceramic layer of the ceramic composite steel pipe lining has an Al2O3 content of more than 95% and a microhardness of HV1000-1500. Therefore, it has extremely high wear resistance, which is more than ten times higher than quenched medium carbon steel and superior to tungsten carbide.
Difference between high-pressure flange and ordinary flange: The acceptable pressure of high-pressure flange and ordinary flange is different. High pressure flanges are used to connect pipes or equipment with a pressure higher than 10 MPa. In low pressure situations, plate type flat welding flanges are often used. High pressure flanges are usually those with neck flat welding flanges, which can accept relatively high pressures.

High pressure flange has high impact strength, and the pipe orifices at both ends are mechanically connected and fastened during connection. Compared with other ordinary flanges, the national standard high-pressure flange has long-term pressure resistance.
High pressure flange production technology:
1. The stamping production efficiency is high, and the operation is convenient, which is conducive to mechanization and automation. Because stamping is accomplished by stamping molds and equipment. Generally, the stroke number of a press is dozens of times per minute, and the high-speed pressure is more than a few hundred times per minute. Each stroke can produce stamping parts.
Stamped parts can be processed into various complex parts. In addition to the cold deformation and hardening of the material during stamping, the stamping strength and rigidity are relatively high, ensuring the stability of the stamping parts in use.
The press usually does not generate debris, consumes less material, and does not require other heating equipment. It is a material saving and energy saving processing method with low stamping cost.
